Well you will have to look at this the Mac one is well expensive did wonder do not great bit of kit works well and the first class deliver>> advice look at you sound output on your Mac and change it to your out put as in your TV or just click on it and confirm there are plenty of blogs out there on this.....

Linking our 2011 MacBook Pro with a Panasonic TV works brilliantly. This connection circumvents Panasonics efforts to limit web access to the TV to their own products/software. You have to change a preference on the Mac to get sound, that stumped me for a while.

This is simply brilliant for the price! A fraction of the cost of similar adapters on Amazon or the Apple website.Works flawlessly with the basic 2m HDMI cable (white) I also bought from this store.Sound is delivered through the connector as well as perfect video from my MacbookPro (2010) model to an LG HD monitor.Can't believe how inexpensive this is!

The Cablesson product gets 5 Stars as does UKHDMI. Anyone with a MacBook (mid to late 2010) who wants to be able to connect their laptop to an HDMI input on an LCD TV need look no further. The Cablesson adapter will transmit both the video and audio signal from the MacBook to the TV as claimed by the manufacturer. Excellent productand service received from UKHDMI.

This cable does indeed transport video and audio from my 15" Macbook Pro, allowing me to use my laptop as a media centre, watch HD video downloaded from the internet, and use FrontRow with my Apple Remote on my living room TV.The cable is clearly well-constructed and I expect it to have a long life-span. Very happy indeed.

I use this on my Mac Book Pro to connect to a large HP display screen that has speakers. Because it is outputting to HDMI, the Mac assumes that the highest resolution is 1080p, the screen is capable of better but 1080 is good enough. I like the fact that it carries sound as well so it is one less lead to plug in.The most impressive thing was the speed with which I received the cable, about 14 hours from order to delivery!

I bought this adapter to connect my 2011 Macbook Pro to my Panasonic plasma TV. I was a bit worried as I had read reports online of some adapters not working properly and my TV isn't full HD (it's 720p) and a few years old now. Thankfully this product worked perfectly - at first I didn't get sound through the cable but I realised that you need to go into the system prefs on the mac and select the TV for sound output. I found it best to turn of display mirroring in the display prefs so that the TV became a second monitor extended to the right of the desktop.

I bought this cable after I got a cheap one off eBay.The one I got from eBay wouldn't work and I decided to get a better one.The cable I received from UKHDMI is no where near any HDMI cables I've had by the past! This is probably the best quality one I've user so far! The cable is thick and well protected, the plugs are made of steel; connectors are gold plated. Image quality has also improved a little bit.I use it on a MacBook Pro ( a Cablesson adaptor also bought on UKHDMI) with an Optoma HD Projector.If this cable was a car, it'd be a Rolls Royce :)If you're still hesitating, get it now! You'll never have a cable of that quality and this cheap anywhere else!

Nicely made, neat little device. Fitted my Macbook Pro like a glove. I used a 5m HDMI flat cable to link it to my TV via the HDMI 1 port. Immediately on connection my Panasonic TV switched itself to display the image on my Laptop clearly. Th Macbook Pro was purchased in Feb 2010 and I read somewhere that audio was added to the Mini-Display port in April. I have not been able to establish if this is true or if there is another reason for the lack of sound.

I was worried at first based on apple wanting £99 for the equivelant bit of kit for the same bit of kit, and also concerned about the claim of the adapter being able to handle audio aas others that I'd seen had USB adapters for that! The adapter landed the next day, was packaged nicer that the Apple VGA adapter I'd also ordered direct form Apple. It worked perfectly first time, and I only had to change over the speaker preference in system preferences... Piece of cake and stunning quality. Don't hesitate to buy on of these.

Syncmaster instructions were a bit vague about how to get sound from the monitor, other than saying you have to plug your own speakers in. Having failed and getting no better advice from PC world a bit of Internet trawling led me here. Whilst Apple provide a mini display output to VGA and DVI adapter at £20-ish each ( plus another £30 for a DVI cable, the monitor comes with VGA only) they do not make it clear that the cables do not support sound. Having checked the specs again to confirm that mini display port supports sound I found I needed HDMI and thus a display port - HDMI adapter. If you look very closely you can find this on the apple site and they point to a couple of third part adapters at a similar cost to their own. Pleased to say that the Cablesson does the job perfectly at a fraction of the cost. Its size and design fit perfectly with the Apple style and the build quality is excellent. Delighted to have found it.

Plugged it into my Macbook Pro, changed the sound output from internal speakers too that of my TV HDMI in the Macbook sound menu, and had a HDMI picture with sound from my TV. Very good build quality, fits perfectly into my 2010 Macbook Pro. I can also confirm this 100% DOES output the sound through HDMI aswell as video. Altough you may have to change audio device if your using VLC player.Super fast delivery aswell, cannot fault the product or the service.

I got this mini displayport to hdmi adapter along with a Maestro Ultra Advanced High Speed HDMI Cable so I could hook up my Mac Mini (early 2010 model) to my new LG 1080p TV at full resolution.And guess what - it just works! OS-X Snow Leopard detected the new display automatically setting it to 1080p resolution (1920x1080) as well as the other display connected which is the same TV but via a 15-pin analogue cable connected to the mini-DVI port (this at 13??x768).The HDMI connected screen is so much sharper (obvious really, better resolution on same size screen) but more significantly the colour and contrast is significantly improved. Perfect for use with my eyeTV Diversity tuner.This little adapter is just like the genuine Apple ones (except they don't do HDMI), and is simplicity itself.If you think you want one, then just do it. You won't regret it!One thing to note - there is no audio with this one. If you want audio too (I didn't), get the one with Optical or USB sound support.

A good looking, good value product that does the job well - I've already recommended the site for that. A small caveat, don't bother paying extra for quick delivery. I paid for 48 hour Parcelforce and delivery took three days. Take the free standard delivery instead. Not a hugely big deal, but standards are so high for ecommerce these days you expect the very best.

This adapter is great.Fits snugly and firmly into the mini DP port like all the other Apple adapters. Doesn't jiggle around and comes out easily too.Looks the same as the official adapters as well, and is just as slimline, so doesn't look ugly or cheaply made if you're worried about that kind of thing!In terms of quality, I've had no problems at all yet, and the picture is very good from my MBP to my TV.The price is very reasonable compared to all the other Apple adapters.
