I bought three of these so called Eco HDMI cables, but there's nothing economical about them apart from their price! The "Basic 1m High Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet - Black" ones that I went for had all the spec that you would expect from the more expensive cables. It has gold plated connectors and importantly is of version 1.4 (be careful not all the eco ones are). Checked around everywhere on the internet and local retailers and these are by far the best spec cables within this price range, and in some cases better than the more expensive cables. UK HDMI support were very helpful on the telephone in answering my queries, and despite saying they would arrive within 2-4 working days, they arrived the next - excellent service!

These are exactly what they say they are - but a little better than I expected! Packaged well, they included plastic end caps and foam protection and are flexible and well made. More expensive cables are often thinker which makes them harder to get them where you want. Even the plugs are gold plated! Digital is digital, so these cheaper cables give a superb picture anyway.
