I'm not professional in media field but it looks like a very solid piece of equipment and does transfer clear picture. I didn't have a chance to test ethernet connection nor most of its specifications. The structure of cable is very robust but a bit at the price of flexibility. I personally wish it was a bit more flexible although I am 100% happy with this purchase. I also believe that all these cables should have main specification printed on them (say at least that it's ver. 1.4 and it's gold/platinum plated). It's not the case - basically nothing is printed on it. You have to believe the seller.

Was in a dilema as to which cable to buy but decided on the cheaper option for the moment and not the top of the range. Connected Sky HD and Sony Blueray 3D player to my Sony 46NX713 TV and the picture quality is fantastic...! Not sure at all if its worth buying the top of the range cable now as I cant imagine the picture getting any better. My normal DVD's show a really good picture now too as well as the blueray which are outstanding with this player and TV. Sky normal TV progammes are vastly improved with the XO platinium High Speed HDMI cable connected to the Sky HD Box, something that I didnt expect. Quality of the cable is excellent so wouldnt hesitate to recommend it. Also service from UKHDMI is first class...There was some problem with my order not arriving so phoned them up one afternoon...Received the cables next morning !..Brilliant !
