I purchased this Cat5/6 HDMI 3D extender to watch Sky HD on a second TV elsewhere in the house, where the use of long HDMI leads or WHDI systems was not feasible. I am using it in conjunction with a 2 way HDMI splitter at the Sky box (also from Cablesson). I can report that the system works excellently on a 30m run of Cat 6 cable, displaying Sky HD and Sky 3D on two displays simultaneously. I do occasionally observe momentary loss of the sound and or picture, but I think this is electrical noise in the house being picked up by the cable run. Re-routing the cable or using shielded Cat6 cable might alleviate this - though I don't consider it to occur frequently enough or to be sufficiently annoying to worry about too much. I haven't made use of the IR blasting feature as I already had a remote extender installed, so can't comment on the function of this part of the product. Overall it is a well built, quality product which does exactly what it says on the tin. Delivery and speedy dispatch were great from UKHDMI.

Have been using another single cat cable extender for a while.My needs are such that I only need to extend it by ~ 10m, and I have a cat 6 cable in place.The other one started to refuse to show any HD signals (1080i or 1080p).This one worked out the box, I've got it set at the minimum setting and all works as expected.It has a learn EDID switch, though I have not used it.I've also not tried it with a 3D display, though as it works with Sky HD (and my home theater PC), I don't see why it wouldn't worh either.

unpacked the box. checked the manual for the correct settings, as it doesn't do an autodetect of the 720/1080,etc.Tested the setup at the lab.Once the resolution was set is works like a charm.Installed it at the customer location using an existing Cat5e cabling that runs to the tech-room.Mobistar Solocoo setop box and Samsung LED TV
