There are a plethora of options for speaker cable out there, costing from a few pence per metre, to hundreds of pounds. Having opted to spend more than £1000 on speakers, I had no idea whether to believe the people who say bell wire is ok, or whether to go down the QED route. I was also concerned that I wouldn't get to test cable for purchasing large amounts since it all had to be buried in walls, ceilings and under carpet. I therefore decided £2/m was a reasonable compromise and the Van Damme cable appeared to receive good comments all over the internet. Having received it, I'm very pleased, exactly as expected.
