This is the 2nd splitter I've purchased to make what I would describe as a poor mans version of the matrix setups. I've 2x splitters into a HDMI switch and it is excellent quality.Topping it off this came with a free HDMI lead.

I ordered this item Tuesday evening with standard free delivery, it was with me by 9am Thursday morning. Impressive.We did have some difficulty getting it to work so I emailed my concerns and got a prompt response from a very kind and patient Andrew in Technical support. I'm not remotely technical but apparently this item should only work when you have two items of the same resolution running off the splitter. I didn't. With a lot more help (from Bro in Law)I got it working. It takes a few seconds to "think" and probably because of the resolution difference, there's a specific order needed when switching from one T.v. to another. Something I'm sure I'll get used to. So, if anything it's over performing at the moment. Let's hope it stays that way.Excellent service from this company.

Without doubt, this is a high quality product which does exactly what I want it to do: split an HDMI cable input into two equal HDMI cable outputs, without loss of quality or signal strength.I previously bought a non-powered splitter which failed to do this, but the Cablesson 1x2 HDMI Splitter works perfectly - even with the output of my Octava 5-way HDMI splitter.Incidentally, if you're wondering why I have that combination, it's because I have PCRs/VCRs which are connected equally to the TV and an HD wireless HDMI bridge (for watching these and sat progs in another room).I would have no hesitation in saying: "buy the Cablesson HDMI splitter"... you won't regret it.

This piece of kit does excactly as it says works fantastically well, although it gets really hot when in use, hopefully this will not affect it's performance.

I used this 1x2 HDMI Splitter to drive two TVs from a single HD sky box. One TV was connected via a 20m cable. This works fine.The unit has an external power supply which is not obvious from the description.

This is a pretty new addition to my Home Cinema set up and was purchased so that I could watch regular daytime etc. TV progs. without having to change HDMI cables around to omit the cine. amp. I think listening to everything via the cine. amp. ultimately loses it's impact. I've given only 4 stars because although it's saved a lot of inconvenience and, from what I've experienced so far it's shown no deterioration in signal, it seems a little expensive and remember, you'll need to purchase an extra HDMI cable.

I was requiring to split a single source HDMI signal so that I could display on 720p and 1020p HDMI monitors upstairs downstairs in my house. I read many reviews and considered various options. I decided on giving this device a chance and I'm glad I made the purchase. It works as described and provided perfect signal to both monitors either both on at the same time or independent. It is very compact and met my needs perfectly. I was worried also about long HDMI cable runs , but It works with no problem at all sending two signals over the long cable runs I have. Many Thanks !

I've used a Media Center with two televisions (in clone mode) for about 5 years. There's always been some glitches caused by Windows getting confused when connected televisions are turned on and off. Now finally with a new fanless video card with HDMI output and this fantastic device I can drive my two televisions with brilliant quality and no glitches at all!

unit nice and smallworked well to connect sky hd to 2 roomswe ran a 10 meter hdmi cable from sky box to the 1x2 hdmi splitter then a 10 meter cable to each screen.this worked 100% the screens were also 3d and all worked well would recomend productjulian jacobs.

Previously tried the Maplin splitter but that would only work with certain cables on certain lengths, obviously had a matching problem.Replaced with the Cablesson and no problems at all.
