Details: Not cheap, but simplifies life no end
I am running an XBox 360, Sony Blu-ray and Nintendo Wii into a surround sound amp that has limited HDMI and optical inputs. This has solved all my problems in terms of input selection and made the thing as "wife-friendly" as can be - she just needs to turn on what she wants and it works. Not sure what happens if more than one thing is turned on at the same time, but I'm sure we'll work that out ;-). I hesitated about buying this for a while, as it's quite expensive, but (for me) it's proved to be worth it for the simplicity it brings.

Very simple installation, clear instructions and no set-up required. Signal quality is as good as it gets and after a week of testing it's safe to say very stable. Ir passthru is instant. Great product.

I used this 1x2 HDMI Splitter to drive two TVs from a single HD sky box. One TV was connected via a 20m cable. This works fine.The unit has an external power supply which is not obvious from the description.

Pleased to find a selection of lengths to reduce the birds nest behind the TV. The woven cover means they are more flexible than some and can be secured to the cable tidy on the TV stand without pulling it off the glass shelf.
