I bought this cable as I was having an issue with my Samsung LCD where I was losing the picture at random intervals when watching TV through my Virgin V HD box. I assumed the issue was the TV, but thought I had better try a new cable before splashing out £500 on a new TV. Plugged in Ikuna HDMI cable - problem solved. Good quality cable at a sensible price.

Details: Picture worked instantly
Nicely made, neat little device. Fitted my Macbook Pro like a glove. I used a 5m HDMI flat cable to link it to my TV via the HDMI 1 port. Immediately on connection my Panasonic TV switched itself to display the image on my Laptop clearly. Any image that I selected, photos, docs or the internet filled the screen exactly as on my Macbook.However despite various attempts and volume settings on the TV and on the laptop I could not hear any audio whether from from an internet site or from any application already on my laptop. Th Macbook Pro was purchased in Feb 2010 and I read somewhere that audio was added to the Mini-Display port in April. I have not been able to establish if this is true or if there is another reason for the lack of sound.

I purchased this HDMI with Ethernet soley to connect my laptop to my games 32" television, the simplisity of just plugging in is a big advncement on the old method of seperate audio cable and d-link cable. For me this is one of the best purchase's that i've made since my laptop. Highly recommend.

Just installed this and seems to be working OK,cable a bit bulky but I expect this is because of the ethernet?.Very good delivery as the weather was very bad.Looked at other prices and found this very competetive with this length of cable.Recommended.Thanks

Been racking my brains to write a witty but informed review of this product but at the end of the day, it's a cable and it works very well. Colours are well represented and overall quality of picture is improved when transferring digital info from my Digital Stream HD Freeview box to the Sony KDL40EX503U. Can't say I was wowed by the improvement but that might be as we are only using bog standard DVD's and Standard Def TV reception at the moment. Hoping when the blu-ray player and eventually home cinema system is installed the benefits will be more apparent. The cable is a tasteful shade of black/gray and feels very solid and well constructed. Not as thick as I thought from reading other reviews but reassuringly well finished plugs which fit snugly. Also more flexible than I thought it would be. However, better too long than too short when it comes to wiring your system up!I should say service was excellent from UKHDMI. Ordered on 15th December, arrived 17th despite the lousy weather so well done Royal Mail too! As others have remarked, the prices certain high street stores charge for HDMI and other cables is extortionate and the uninformed often fall victim to pushy sales staff. This wasn't a brand I was familiar with prior to ordering nor was UKHDMI but after careful research and a first class experience I would not hesitate to recommend both again.
