Details: Clarity at last
I had been looking around for a way to watch both my TV in the living room and the TV in my bedroom for ages, I had tried splitter cables to no avail and then `i stumbled on to this, even at it's original price it is a great piece of kit but to have it discounted as well has really made my christmas.The picture is crystal clear and you would never guess that a single feed is supplying a 50" 3D plasma TV and a 42" LCD TV, the quality just oozes through on both screens even when both on at the same time.

Details: Cablesson HDelity HDMI 3D Extender Single Cat5/6
I purchased this Cat5/6 HDMI 3D extender to watch Sky HD on a second TV elsewhere in the house, where the use of long HDMI leads or WHDI systems was not feasible. I am using it in conjunction with a 2 way HDMI splitter at the Sky box (also from Cablesson). I can report that the system works excellently on a 30m run of Cat 6 cable, displaying Sky HD and Sky 3D on two displays simultaneously. I do occasionally observe momentary loss of the sound and or picture, but I think this is electrical noise in the house being picked up by the cable run. Re-routing the cable or using shielded Cat6 cable might alleviate this - though I don't consider it to occur frequently enough or to be sufficiently annoying to worry about too much. I haven't made use of the IR blasting feature as I already had a remote extender installed, so can't comment on the function of this part of the product. Overall it is a well built, quality product which does exactly what it says on the tin. Delivery and speedy dispatch were great from UKHDMI.

We use these converters to connect HDMI output PC's to monitors with DVI rather than HDMI ports. Always handy to keep a couple around, they work perfectly. An alternative is a direct HDMI to DVI cable which avoids a joint but wastes an HDMI cable if one was supplied.
