Details: Good quality cable
I'm not professional in media field but it looks like a very solid piece of equipment and does transfer clear picture. I didn't have a chance to test ethernet connection nor most of its specifications. The structure of cable is very robust but a bit at the price of flexibility. I personally wish it was a bit more flexible although I am 100% happy with this purchase. I also believe that all these cables should have main specification printed on them (say at least that it's ver. 1.4 and it's gold/platinum plated). It's not the case - basically nothing is printed on it. You have to believe the seller.

My review of this cable is limited to the extent that I've not bought and HDMI lead before. However, it arrived in good order, and was sent very quickly, and externally manufacturing standards seem high. UKHDMI was the only site I could easily find what I needed to buy, and indeed find out what it was I needed. I wanted to connect a Sony HD handycam to a new telly, and for this you need a mini plug at one end and a standard at the other This isn't immediately apparent if you've not used these leads before. I'd previously used the component cable that came with the camera, with good results. But with the HDMI cable I could see the HD camera's output properly for the first time, it made a huge difference and made me realise I'd completely underestimated what the camera could do. As I've said, I can't really compare this cable with another, but it seems to be doing its job perfectly and at a small fraction of the price Sony wanted for its official cable. I will be back to UKHDMI when I need any more cables,and have no hesitation in recommending them to others.
