I recently purchased a projector which I am using in the same room as my LCD tv but I only have 1 HDMI out on my receiver. I tried several HDMI switches but none worked. I was advised to try the Octava HDDA12A-UK 1x2. I installed the unit 3 days ago and it is a great bit of hardware. It works perfectly with my projector which is 3D and the LCD tv. It was simple to install and I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for this type of device.

Great piece of kit, after trying several ways of trying to get a signal through to my other TV in my dining room from my new Virgin Tivo with no luck, I bought this, not cheap but well worth it and it works absolutely perfectly.

After a number of unsuccessful attempts to use an HDMI splitter on my Virgin Tivo box, in frustration I ordered the Octava splitter. After reprogramming to option 3 it works faultlessly delivering stable full 1080HD to both my TVs.I was prompted to buy the Octava - despite it's higher cost - by positive reviews.I'm very happy now - especially after Virgin Media told me they did not support the use of splitters with the Tivo box

I certainly wish that a six star review were would be possibile. Because this was exactly the unit I was looking for. I am a free-lance video producer and editor, using Final Cut Pro on a MacPro with a BlackMagic Design Intensity HDMI output card.I needed an HDMI splitter to split up the video to my HDMI monitor and to a separate LCD screen for my clients. And I needed both analog and SPDIF audio out. Analog to feed a professional dB-level meter and SPDIF for my digital audio amplifier to feed my speakers and/or headphones. The Octava HDDA12 does it all and does it perfectly. Worked right out of the box. Finally, I am operating out of Brussels and to my pleasant surprise - apart from the extra HDMI cable - the box (that arrived swiftly, within two days after my order) contained a "continental" type mains plug. Very good job Guys.

Tried a Cablesson unit, along with a Labgear. Neither worked until I used the Octava. Setup is as follows: Sky HD into Octava 1x2. 2 outputs: 1.5m HDMI to Panasonic plasma and 20m HDMI to Samsung LCD. The Octava is certainly up there in price but was the only one that worked for me! Good service from the company too...
