1. Using UKHDMI website
1. How to place an order?

Select the items you want to order and add them to your shopping basket by clicking the orange ‘add to basket’ button in the Buy Box. Shown in the Buy Box you will find a summary of the items in your basket. You can review your basket by clicking ‘view basket’ or you can proceed directly to the checkout by clicking the ‘Proceed to Checkout’ button.
Customers have the option to checkout anonymously as a guest or to register for a ukhdmi.com account. It is advisable to register for an ukhdmi.com account for future convenience with fast and easy check out and easy access to your order history and status. Choose whether to register or be a guest and then click ‘continue’.
The site will walk you through the checkout process step by step until your order is placed and completed.
Once the system has completed the checkout, you will receive an order confirmation email containing your order details. Please check your email inbox or spam inbox as some emails maybe redirected into your spam inbox.

2. How to save an order for later?

You can save your shopping basket for later. All you need is to have registered for an account with ukhdmi.com. Whatever items are put into your basket prior to completing the checkout process will be saved for the next time when you log back into your account. The saved basket is stored in your ukhdmi.com account where you can review, change and delete the virtual order. Please note you have not placed an actual order until you have followed the usual order completion steps. Once you have placed the actual order, you will receive an email confirming your purchase.

3. How does one log out?

Simply close your browser window and you will have logged out. As an additional security measure, you will be automatically logged out after 15 minutes of inactivity.

4. Shipping and delivery information
1. General Shipping Information

We deliver to any UK address within 2 to 4 working days for all First Class, Standard and Free shipping (Excludes Next Day Delivery Orders).  Our following delivery partners help us ensure you get your product(s) in the best of conditions within the specified time frame:

For our purposes the UK includes England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and all BFPO addresses.

Delivery is Free for orders over £14.99--UK (GBP)

Next Day (Monday-Friday) Delivery is £5.99 for any amount--UK (GBP)
The cut of time for Next Day delivery is 2:30pm.

First Class delivery is £1.99--UK (GBP)

First Class Recorded delivery is £2.79--UK (GBP)

2. When can one expect their order?

You shall be notified via an email once your order has been handed over to the carrier for delivery. The time frame of delivery varies according to the delivery option one selects while placing an order, with an estimated delivery time shown once you purchase your product(s).
The maximum length of time for UK orders to arrive is 4 working days. (Excludes Next Day Delivery Orders)

3. Can one change the delivery address?

You have the option of providing a different delivery address in addition to the billing address during the check out process.
Unfortunately once an order has been placed we cannot change the delivery address.

4. No receiptof dispatched orders.

It is possible that the carrier may have attempted to deliver at a time when no one was available to collect the package, or that they may have had trouble locating your address. In most instances, the main reason for such trouble is a simple delay in the postal system; the carrier then delivers the order within another couple of days. However, if you fail to receive your order within 15 days of the expected date of delivery, please do not hesitate to contact us and we shall strive to resolve your problem.

5. What if my order is missing or received it damaged?

We shall be in close contact with the carrier in case of any such problems in order to ensure a smooth investigation and resolution of the issue. We shall keep you informed of all progress in this regard.

6. How does one calculate shipping cost for an item/order?

Please add item(s) to shopping cart and proceed to checkout to calculate the shipping cost of the delivery address. This process is necessary as its helps calculate accurate shipping cost to the delivery address. Please CANCEL or ABORT the transaction and DO NOT confirm the order

We are aware of the concerns customers have about entering their card details when carrying out a transaction. We have therefore implemented the following measures to ensure that paying via our Website is as safe as possible:

1. How does one add items to my Shopping Basket?

After you 'Add Item', the items will be placed in your shopping bag until you check out. You can review your bag anytime by clicking on the "View Bag/Checkout" button. If an item that you selected is not appearing in your shopping bag, double check its availability. To remove anything from your shopping bag, click on "delete".

2. Telephone Orders?

We also accept Credit and Debit Card payments over the telephone. Please place an order as normal through the website and select your method of payment as 'Bank Transfer'. Note down your UDI order number and contact us with your order number in order to make a payment over the telephone.

3. Cancellation of Orders?

Please contact us in order to speak to one of our customer service staff to get your order cancelled. An email will be sent to you to confirm your order has been cancelled.

7. Payment information
1. Credit Card or Debit Card Payments

We accept all major credit cards and debit cards. All credit and debit cards are processed immediately and are UKHDMI’s preferred payment methods for quicker processing and the fast delivery of your order(s).

2. Google Checkout Payments

UKHDMI also accepts the ‘Google Checkout’ payment processing method. Simply click on the ‘Google Checkout fast checkout with Google’ Button to complete your purchase with Google Checkout.

3. PayPal Payments

UKHDMI also accepts PayPal payments. Simply click on the PayPal logo to complete your purchase using PayPal.

4. Bank Transfer Payments

Please click on the Bank Transfer or the HSBC logo in order to make your Bank Transfer payments. All the relevant Bank information will be provided to you in order to make a successful Bank Transfer.
We also accept Credit and Debit Card payments over the telephone. Please place an order as normal through the website and select your method of payment as 'Bank Transfer’. Note down your UDI order number and contact us with your order number in order to make a payment over the telephone.

5. Can one change the payment method?

The payment method for an order cannot be amended once the order has been submitted to UKHDMI. To choose an alternative payment method, you will need to cancel your existing order and place a new order with your preferred payment method. Please note that when cancelling Credit or Debit card orders; it can take up to 3 working days for the payment authorisation to be removed by your Credit or Debit Card Company. As debit cards are charged at the time of ordering, UKHDMI will need to process a refund if you decide to cancel your Credit or Debit Card order.

6. Are ones Credit or Debit Card details Secure?

UKHDMI payment processing partner is Protx. The security of Protx servers is closely monitored to prevent any unauthorised disclosure or use of credit card numbers and to protect the confidentiality of your personal information. Ukhdmi.com and Protx use the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) industry standard, the highest level of security available today for web-secured applications. SSL relies on a pair of public and private key technologies provided by thawte and based on a 40-bit encryption algorithm.

9. When will ones Credit or Debit Card be charged?

Your Credit or Debit card will be automatically charged once your order and payment has been received successfully.

10. Why was ones Credit or Debit Card payment not processed?

Your Credit or Debit Card Company may have declined authorisation to debit your card due to one of the below mentioned reasons.

  • there may be a credit limit on your account
  • the incorrect card type, number or expiry date was accidentally selected when placing the order
  • there were dashes or spaces in the account number that could not be recognised
  • a simple administrative step taken when the card holder is not present to sign for the transaction
  • your card may be recently issued and has not yet been activated

If such a situation arises, please contact us or your Card Issuer for further information.

11. My Credit or Debit Card was declined, can re-authorise it?

If your order was not authorised online, please confirm you have correctly entered your Credit or Debit Card details and place your order again. If you still have difficulties please contact your Credit or Debit Card Company to make them aware of your order.

12. Can one change their billing address?

Your billing address is the registered address that you’re Credit or Debit Card Company holds. Please ensure that your billing address is correct at the time of placing your order. Once UKHDMI has accepted your order your billing address cannot be changed as it would have already been authorised by your Credit or Debit Card Company.

13. Can I place an order using a NON-UK Credit Card?

UKHDMI accepts most Credit or Debit Cards from within the UK and outside of the UK. However, please do contact us or your Card provider for further information.

8. Returns, Refunds or Replacement
By law, customers located in the European Union also have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered. For more information see Your Statutory Rights.

If you are not satisfied with your any of our product, please call +44(0)1865 253 790 for a Return Material Authorization (RMA) request within 7 working days of the receipt of the product. Configure-to-order, personalized or other customized product may not be returned for refund or exchange under any circumstances unless Dead on Arrival (DOA).

Within 7 working days of purchase, you may return any our products for any reason for a refund, exchange or credit. If the item to be returned or exchanged is defective or is the result of an error on UKHDMI's part, UKHDMI will refund all shipping charges.

  • Reason for return

On receipt of your package, we will provide you with refund or exchange your order accordingly. Indicating this number and the reason clearly on the packaging of the goods you are returning will help ensure that your returns are processed quickly.

2. How long does it take to process a refund?

Your refund shall be processed after the returned goods have reached our warehouse. Please allow 3-5 days for the refund to reach your account.

9. Viewing your order (Accessing My Account)
1. Accessing my account

Once registered with UKHDMI.com, access will be provided in order for the account holders to view their orders by logging into to the site and clicking on ‘My Account’ in the top left hand corner of the page. On the left hand side under the account dashboard click ‘My Orders’ to view a history and all current orders.
