Description:

Do you have a long HDMI or DVI cable link between the source and projector monitor that is causing your video to drop out. This compact HDMI Cable Equalizer automatically equalizes and compensates for HDMI/ DVI cables losses and extends cable reach to projectors or monitors. This HDMI / DVI Equalizer can be powered directly from the cable without an external power supply so is ideal for projection theatre systems. A external power adapter is supplied for long cable applications.

HDMI is backward compatible with DVI. This switch will work with either DVI or HDMI.

Specifications:

  • Extends cable reach to projectors or monitors
  • 6.75 Gbps aggregate data rate support for V1.3
  • Extends cable reach to 100ft. Perfect for projector systems
  • Compatible with 480p, 720i/p, 1080i/p
  • Compatible with VGA, SVGA, XGA, SXGA, UXGA
  • Low power, powered directly from most HDMI sources
  • Easy to use. Plug and Play.
  • DVI compatible with use of adapters.

An UK HDMI fan has give Octava Powered HDMI Extender Excellent

I was having all sorts of problems connecting 2 HDMI cables, one 10m and one 5m. I thought HDMI extenders were much of a muchness, and tried a Neet HDMI extender. It didn't work for me, however. This seemed expensive for not much kit (it's alarmingly light-weight), but worked first time and I'm delighted with the outcome.
