The New Cablesson HDelity HDMI 3D Extender is an HDMI with Bi-Directional IR Extension Kit. The extenders are designed to handle full 1080p up to 50m (130ft) and 1080i/720p up to (60m) 200ft. The Cablesson HDelity HDMI 3D Extender are capable of supporting very high bandwidth and therefore are able to handle all 7 x 3D formats.
The Cablesson HDelity HDMI 3D Extender are based on the latest HDMI technology and therefore are capable of fully supporting HDCP 2.0, Deep Colour and DTS-HD or Dolby TrueHD audio. In addition, the Cablesson HDelity HDMI 3D Extender are also equipped with bi-directional IR pass-through, which allows users to control the sources from the remote location as well as sending IR signal from a control system to a remote location. Perfect for Control4, RTI, HAI or any other control system users or dealers may use.
The Cablesson HDelity HDMI 3D Extender includes two modules: transmitting module and receiving module, where the transmitter module converts HDMI with IR to Cat 5/6 (RJ45) and the receiver module converts it back to HDMI and IR. The receiver module is featured with 8-step equalization control, to allow users to adjust the equalization strength to the received HDMI signals accordingly, and therefore optimize the transmission distance between source and display.

I purchased this Cat5/6 HDMI 3D extender to watch Sky HD on a second TV elsewhere in the house, where the use of long HDMI leads or WHDI systems was not feasible. I am using it in conjunction with a 2 way HDMI splitter at the Sky box (also from Cablesson). I can report that the system works excellently on a 30m run of Cat 6 cable, displaying Sky HD and Sky 3D on two displays simultaneously. I do occasionally observe momentary loss of the sound and or picture, but I think this is electrical noise in the house being picked up by the cable run. Re-routing the cable or using shielded Cat6 cable might alleviate this - though I don't consider it to occur frequently enough or to be sufficiently annoying to worry about too much. I haven't made use of the IR blasting feature as I already had a remote extender installed, so can't comment on the function of this part of the product. Overall it is a well built, quality product which does exactly what it says on the tin. Delivery and speedy dispatch were great from UKHDMI.

Have been using another single cat cable extender for a while.My needs are such that I only need to extend it by ~ 10m, and I have a cat 6 cable in place.The other one started to refuse to show any HD signals (1080i or 1080p).This one worked out the box, I've got it set at the minimum setting and all works as expected.It has a learn EDID switch, though I have not used it.I've also not tried it with a 3D display, though as it works with Sky HD (and my home theater PC), I don't see why it wouldn't worh either.

unpacked the box. checked the manual for the correct settings, as it doesn't do an autodetect of the 720/1080,etc.Tested the setup at the lab.Once the resolution was set is works like a charm.Installed it at the customer location using an existing Cat5e cabling that runs to the tech-room.Mobistar Solocoo setop box and Samsung LED TV
