This unique Octava HDS4A-UK 4x1 HDMI switch routes both HDMI and Optical Toslink Audio signals. Now you can set your HDTV and Audio Receiver to 1 single INPUT and simply select all your sources through the HDMI switch. No more fumbling with multiple rmotes. The built in Toslink routing and our unique Smart Scan^TM algorithm will make your theater system easier to operate at a fraction of the cost of a complete HDMI Audio Receiver.

Now the HDS4A-UK is available with V1.3 Full HD and Deep color support.

This unique switch allows you to switch between 4 HDMI sources , 4x1 optical Toslink and 4x1 Digital Coax Audio switching to your HD monitor and Audio Receiver.

Our proprietary Clear EYE^TM transmission line and ISI reduction design will IMPROVE the digital video signals. Smart Scan^TM algorithm intelligently selects the correct HDMI source so you can enjoy the program instead of fumbling with the remote. Approved by Wives and Kids!

HDMI is backward compatible with DVI-D. This switch will work with either DVI or HDMI. We understand that you may have a "mixed" system and require different cables. We allow you to choose the type of cable that you need during purchase.

Having recently bought a 1920x1200 monitor with DVI input, I wanted to plug my HDMI gadgets into it. No problem, the HDMI picture comes across wonderfully. There is no sound transfer, so the Octava HDS4A was perfect for the need to distribute four separate optical audio stream into one input.The remote control is easy to use and very powerful, the auto off function is an energy saving delight and the ability to turn the LEDs off means that it is ideal for watching Blu Rays in the dark.The Octava and monitor came in much cheaper than a comparable Hi-Def television.

I found it easy to set up, just plug and play. Although for some reason the documentation says it can support a max of 1080i, which is a bit odd. I tried it on my xbox360 which outputs at 1080p, and it handled that quite fine! The autoselection of inputs works great. You can override it with the remote control if you wish, and even mix and match audio and video inputs (eg video input 1 and audio input 3).

Ordered one of these after having problems with a cheaper HDMI switcher. It arrived next day as promised and was so easy to set up. The remote works really well and its nice to have the option of having the LED light on or off. Highly recommend this product to anyone who wants make life easier with managing multiple HDMI equipment into limited inputs in the back of their TV.

This switch unit may be thought a bit pricey, but it performs impeccably, always detecting the correct imput, with agood, clean output signal. I have all four inputs in use, and it saves all the hassle of swapping plugs around. Highly recommended.
