HDMI over CAT5e/6 Transceiver allows transmission of HDMI, I.R. and Toslink Optical Audio over standard CAT-5 / 6 Ethernet cables. The HDMI Transceiver consists of a HDMI Transmitter and a HDMI Receiver and allows transmission of 1080P HD upto 50 metres over Ethernet cables (CAT-6 recommended). Infrared Extension allows I.R. signals to be sent from viewing area to the equipment room. Optical Audio Toslink In/ Out port is provided to extend Optical Toslink Audio signal from Source to the Surround Sound Receiver.
CAT 6 cable is recommended for 1080P and best performance

Very simple installation, clear instructions and no set-up required. Signal quality is as good as it gets and after a week of testing it's safe to say very stable. Ir passthru is instant. Great product.

I bought this product after much research. It works excatly how it should. I have tried it over a 15m pre constructed cat6 cable and it works very well. Ideally I need it to work through wall plates, cat5e, and a patch panel...we will see! Good product but at a cost!Product function 5/5does what it shouldproduct design 4/5it would be nice if the wires came neatly out of 2 sides rather than every side!

Excellent Product. Purchased the HDOCAT-UK HDMI to extend the outputs of a Sky HD Box (HDMI and digital optical audio) over two 20 meter Cat6 ethernet patch cables(FTP Sheilded with RJ45 plugs) to a projector and audio receiver in another room.The infrared extension also worked with the Sky remote control.Easy to set up and was pleased with the results.

Product worked extremely well, and is recommended to anyone wanting to control devices from another room and on a different display, i did feel however that the instructions could have been clearer. It would also be nice if the transmitter was able to split the signal rather than purchase a seperate splitter. This product is not notch though
