The Cablesson 1080p rated Mini-DVI to DVI adapter is designed for the iMac (Intel Core Duo) and the 12-inch PowerBook G4 allowing you to connect to an external DVI monitor.

NOTE: The new MacBook and MackBook PRO Uni-Body that started shipping late 2008, early 2009 have mini-DisplayPort connectors, not mini-DVI so this product won't work. Bookmark this page and come back in a few weeks for our new Mini-DisplayPort to HDMI adapter.

The Mini-DVI to DVI Adapter can also be used in combination with the Apple DVI to ADC adapter to support Apple flat panel Studio or Cinema Displays.

I unpacked the Mini DVI to DVI Adaptor, plugged it in, IT WORKED! Twice the desktop space. All that's needed now is for Apple to enable multitasking on two screens - voila.A brilliant product.
